Susie Cheatham
Susie H. Cheatham is a children's book author with particular interests in poetry and picture books. She believes deeply in nurturing and empowering young people; in addition to writing, she has cared for children as a pediatrician and taught dozens of homeschool students.
Cheatham earned her B.A. from Duke University and her M.D. from Vanderbilt University. In January 2022, she will graduate with her M.F.A. from Vermont College of Fine Arts.
She and her husband, Mike, live in Florida and have four daughters.
